But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. (Hebrew 2 v9)

Jesus has already been crowned. Jesus conquered death for man, so we can have full assurance in Jesus that those who are born again by God's Spirit will not taste of the second death. Jesus has paid the price for sin.
Soon, we shall see Jesus - crowned with glory and honour, and when He appears we shall be like Him.
