So let us put on the Whole Armour of God....
Ephesians Chapter 6 v 10-18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; |

| . | . | Walking with the Lord and choosing to not go the same way as the multitudes will mean sometimes facing the onslaught of the enemy. It means trusting when we would normally worry - believing when we would normally doubt. The shield of faith is given so that when the enemy sends the arrows of doubt we can lift our faith and deflect all our doubts and fears. Sometimes the shield may seem heavy - difficult to lift, but as we excercise our faith we will grow stronger in faith. Able to quench ALL the fiery darts of the enemy. |
