The Bible is full of prophetic writings - things concerning the
future, written ahead of time. Here are some Bible prophecies from the new and old testaments:
The increase of knowledge The greatest prophecy of all relates to God's plan for the redemption of Man. The Spirit of God caused holy prophets of old to write the Good News - that Jesus, the only begotten Son of God would one day come to earth to take the punishment for sinful mankind, so that mankind might be restored to the grace and favour of God. And that prophesy came to pass. Jesus, born 2000 years ago, through His great love for you and me, was willing to suffer death (the penalty for sin) in our place. He took the punishment that should have come upon us, when He died on the cross at Calvary. He paid the price for ALL sin. We are now living in an age of grace - when although we deserve nothing, God is pouring out His love upon us. What a prophesy. What a fulfilment. What a Saviour!
