Fealing Threatened

Are you under attack today? If you are, notice four things the disciples did when they were threatened.

They brought God into the picture:
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings (Acts 4:29)
Talked to the Lord about it yet?
If it’s not big enough to be a prayer, it’s too small to be a burden! God should be the first person you discuss it with, not the last.
Prayer is the door through which He enters your situation:
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.(Psalm 91:15)
Invited Him in yet?

They asked for greater faith:
..and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word (Acts 4:29)
It is not realistic to expect that all your questions will be answered and that all your fear will leave. Faith and fear will always be at work in your life. But if you want to be an overcomer learn to starve your fear and feed faith:
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

They expected God to intervene:
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. (Acts 4:30)
Don’t just "sit in your seat and do nothing." Expect God to move! Go on the offensive! Listen to what the Bible says:
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. (Matt 14:25)
He still works the night shift! He’s available anytime of the day - just call!

They were filled with Holy Spirit:
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)
There is the key. They were energised and galvanised as steel by the Power of God - and you can be too. Just ask Him today!
