Green with rage, or going green with this age?

The new age movement tells us that we should go 'green'.
Join Greenpeace, be ozone friendly and save the planet. Vegetarians say eat 'green' for a healthy diet. Safety experts say follow the 'Green Cross Code'. And politicians…join the Green party.
Many seem to have opted for a 'green' lifestyle, but can it really make a difference in the end?

Let's face the facts.

The problem which is at the root of all this world's troubles is sin. Mankind's selfish attitudes and lack of interest in God's plan for this world shows itself when his every attempt at a remedy fails.
Stopping the damage to the ozone layer, helping the planet to survive a little longer, being safety and health conscious - all very worthwhile causes now - but are they dealing with the greater problem?

God's Word says "..it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement"
(Hebrews Ch9 v 27)

God's judgement will not be on the basis of what we have done to save the planet.
It will not be what we have done for the good of mankind. It will not be what we have done to make the world a better place in which to live.
God's judgement will be based on one thing, and one thing only.
What we have done about our sin!

The Bible says that God saw man's sin and sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, into this world as the remedy for sin.
When Jesus died on the cross at Calvary He bore in His own body the sins of all mankind.

Because He has paid the price for sin He has made a way to for us to receive God's forgiveness for sin.
We must accept Jesus as our Saviour - He is the only Saviour from sin.

God sounded a warning, through the prophet Isaiah, when He said "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
(Isaiah Ch1 v 18)

The comparison was made between sin and the dreaded disease of leprosy which, if not dealt with, progresses from small red blemishes to large white areas.

God's forgiveness means a cleansing from sin - and a clothing with Jesus' righteousness.

Don't be deceived into attempting a green 'cover-up' - but discover for yourself the cleansing which Jesus brings.
Recieve God's solution to man's greatest problem - sin and it's consequence.
