The Moon Back to God's World | Back to Sun, Moon & Stars "The lesser light to rule the night" (Genesis 1:16) remains a faithful witness in the sky to the creative power of God (Psalm 8:3). At the same time the moon is also a hopeless enigma to evolutionists. Even after several fantastically expensive lunar probes and a close scrutiny of moon rocks.
If the moon had been moving through space for millions of years (as is claimed by evolutionists) it should have
accumalated an enormous depth of meteoritic dust. No current theory of its origin commands wide respect among astronomers. It could not have condensed from interstellar dust, because such particles would lack the necessary gravitational attraction. It could not have come out of the earth, or have been captured by the earth, for such concepts are hopelessly contradicted by basic laws of celestial mechanics. The only satisfactory explanation of the moon's existence is simply that God created it. |
