Jesus said: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me" (Matthew 16:24)
The Bible also says "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12)

The way of the Christian is anything but easy!
Jesus doesn't promise to take our problems away. But He does promise to take us through them.
He says "In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33)
