He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. (Luke 1:51)
We can have absolute confidence in the power of our Saviour. Confidence in His power to save, His power to heal and His power to deliver.
When Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead He showed forth His mighty power - the mighty power that was His from the beginning. Look waht the old testament records of His power:
O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
