          The name is given not because it is the promised land but because it will be the site of Messiah's earthly throne when the land has been cleansed.
          A Holy Land is appropriate and expected for it's Holy Lord (Isaiah 6:1-5)

          The things we do in God's strength will be stored up for us as treasure in heaven. They are likened to Gold, Silver & Precious Stones.
          They will stand the test of fire and will endure.

          The things we do in our own strength and our own efforts will not last in heaven. They are likened to Wood, Hay & Stubble.
          They will not stand the test of fire and will be burned up.

          Some of the Pharisees would go to great lengths to strain their drink with a fine cloth to prevent them from swallowing a gnat - the smallest of all 'unclean' creatures.
          Jesus pointed out to them their hypocrisy.
          They made sure that they kept the smallest point of the law and yet neglected the weightier matters of justice, mercy and faith - the very moral principles underlying the law! (hence 'swallow a camel').

          In the middle east, sheep and goats are almost indistinguishable from each other when first born. As they grow, the differences start to appear.
          Sheep are used to represent believers and are given a place at the Lord's right hand (place of favour). Goats are used to represent unbelievers and consigned to a place of dishonour and rejection by the Lord
